 | Friday, August 14th, 2015: Starting Pitcher Fausto Carmona Out The Colorado Rockies will have to make do without Fausto Carmona for 1-2 weeks. He suffered dead arm syndrome while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Los Angeles (N) Dodgers. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Carmona will miss 1-2 weeks. To date this year, Carmona shows a 2-2 record, 2 starts, 68 innings, 41 strikeouts and a 3.31 ERA. |
