| Breaking News |  | Friday, May 27th, 2016: Drew Misbehaves, Suspended 2 Games
Minnesota shortstop Stephen Drew was ejected in the game between the Twins and Blue Jays for letting loose a profanity-laced tirade against the home plate umpire after some calls didn't go the way he wanted. Fernandez was incensed in the 3-2 loss to Toronto and was just as angry after the game.
"These guys are a joke. How can people expect to take this game seriously when you have games like this?" Drew said in the locker room after the game.
Now Drew must face the consequences of this actions. League officials released this brief statement to the media: "We are regretful that Drew has taken this to the level that it has reached. The league will not tolerate this type of conduct. Due to his actions during and after the game, the league is suspending him for 2 games."
This year Drew has hit 3 home runs and posted a .277 batting average.

Despite the number of years he's been in the league, Gonzola Hariquez still gets excited when he puts together a quality stretch like he had in April. The 32-year-old starter for Minnesota was named American League Pitcher of the Month earlier today.
He collected 5 wins and no losses with 22 strikeouts in his 5 starts, putting up a fine 2.82 ERA in 38.1 innings of work.
