| Breaking News |  | Sunday, June 5th, 2016: Harden Takes Charge, Blanks Los Angeles (A) In a sharp 6-hit performance, Rich Harden tossed the Boston Red Sox to a 9-0 shutout victory over the Los Angeles (A) Angels of Anaheim, fanning 7 and walking 2.
"That's as good a stuff as I've seen in a long time," the Los Angeles (A) manager said in his postgame interview.
Currently Harden has a record of 7-3 with 67 strikeouts and 26 walks in 88.1 innings and a 2.65 ERA. |  | Sunday, May 29th, 2016: Castro Hitless, Stopped by Angels of Anaheim Ramon Castro's sizzling streak was snapped at 21 today as the Kansas City Royals dropped a game to the Los Angeles (A) Angels of Anaheim 3-2. Castro failed to get a hit and went 0-for-2. Despite his bad day at the plate, the Ewing R. Kaufman Stadium fans showed their appreciation and gave the catcher a standing ovation each time he came to the plate.
After the game Castro spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a day. I can't imagine getting that many standing ovations in a career, much less on one day."
So far this season Castro has gotten 64 hits in 175 at-bats for a .366 batting average with 18 home runs. His stats include 42 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has played in 47 games. |  | Friday, May 27th, 2016: Castro's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Today Ramon Castro went 2-for-5 in the Kansas City Royals 10-4 victory over the Los Angeles (A) Angels of Anaheim. This extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Castro declined to comment for the media immediately after the game. R. Castro struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th.
