Saturday, September 26th, 2015: Rockies Kotchman Smacks 5 Hits!
5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Colorado's Casey Kotchman had a very special day against the Diamondbacks when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Colorado Rockies to a 9-0 win at Coors Field.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Kotchman said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

C. Kotchman hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off A. Sanchez in the 8th.

Kotchman is hitting at a .297 mark this season. His stats show 15 home runs, 101 RBIs and 77 runs scored. He has played 158 games for the Rockies.
Saturday, September 19th, 2015: Gobble Blanks Colorado
It was a long day at the plate for the Colorado Rockies. They never did figure out Jimmy Gobble and were shut out 8-0. The San Francisco hurler baffled them the entire game, yielding no runs and 1 hit in a very well-pitched outing. Gobble also totaled 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.

So far this season, Gobble has logged a 14-6 record with a 2.79 ERA. He has started 31 games, hurled 219.1 innings and registered 151 strikeouts and 34 walks.
