Friday, June 8th, 2018: Big Day with Bat: Tulowitzki 5-5
It was a parade of hits for Troy Tulowitzki of the Colorado Rockies... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Chicago (A) White Sox for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats and propelled the Rockies to a 5-4 victory.

"Tulowitzki was really good and we were really bad," groaned the White Sox manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

T. Tulowitzki singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off H. Branyan in the 9th.

This season Tulowitzki has hit at a .356 clip with 36 RBIs, 8 home runs and 40 runs scored.
Friday, May 25th, 2018: Jones Blitzes Milwaukee
At Coors Field today Colorado blitzed the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 on a route-going gem by Mark Jones. He blanked them on a 6-hitter and had 1 strikeout in the contest.

In 10 starts this season Jones has chalked up a 6-1 record and a 3.53 ERA.
Monday, May 21st, 2018: Mattingly Selected Player of the Week
Preston Mattingly demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National League Player of the Week Award.

The Colorado first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .524 average (11-21) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.

Mattingly is swinging at a .344 pace on the year with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has played in 41 games.
