Rules for submitting trades in eMLB!

These are the rules for submitting trades:

1. You will come to a mutual agreement with the party(or parties) involved on an agreeable trade.

2. Each member involved will send confirmation of the trade to the League Presidents' Office.

3. Trades are only acknowledged by the league when they are SUBMITTED to the League for approval. This means the eMLB cannot and WILL NOT act on an individual that backs out of a verbal agreement. If a verbal trade goes sour, this is a risk you took on your own! Only written proposal binds parties involved and will be heard by the E-Board.

4. The trade proposal will be reviewed for correctness and fairness. The Commissioner's Office and League Presidents look for issues "in the best interests of the league".

5. When a trade is considered approved, either of the League Presidents will announce this to the league on the eMLB mailing list. If, in the event of a conflict of interest, a trade involves the League Presidents, the Commissioner's Office will rule.

6. After an approved trade is announced, it is the immediate responsibility of the parties involved to submit roster changes to the Commissioner's Office. The owners are responsible for the accountability of their players.

7. If a trade is rejected, the parties involved will be informed of the decision and reasoning.

8. Owners have the right to appeal a declined trade by submitting correspondence to The Commissioner's Office

9. All decisions made by the Commissioner are final.
